SPRING 2007
TIP
FOR
THE MONTH
Hello!
The Spring 2007 issue of Building the Body Quarterly
Magazine is now available. Pictured to the left is the front
cover taken by Christine in Palm Springs August 1982 of Frank at age 40, eight
weeks before the Mr. Olympia contest, weighing 205 pounds. The back cover
pictured below was also taken by Christine right outside the Zane Experience Gym
in San Diego December 2006 at age 64 weighing 175. This issue contains
some interesting photo comparisons of Frank at age 24 taken in Florida and more
photos taken in December 2006 at age 64, a difference of 40 years.
Article s
are: 1. WHAT NOW? Goals, workout,
diet, motivation for 2007...Frank's plan for a greater peak. 2.
ARNOLD CLASSIC 2007: What went down at the
biggest show in town. The expo was so huge there must have been 150,000
people there. 3. A JASON HAY CARTOON
pictures what the expo was like in a humorous way. 4.
THE FLORIDA YEARS describes the real
beginning of Frank's professional bodybuilding career, right to the point he
moved to California to train with Arnold whom he had defeated that year in the
Mr. Universe competition in Miami. 5. THE ROLE OF
BLOOD IN THE BODY: Joel Giacobbe and Frank tell why big isn't
best for your health since we all have the same amount of blood circulation in
our bodies. 6. WHAT'S A MAN TO DO?
Craig Fisher M.D. gives his medical perspective on exercise and hormones.
7. THE FOUR LEVELS OF THE AGING PROCESS:
Ed Kellogg PhD tells how we can live longer and healthier lifestyles. 8.
FRANKLY SPEAKING: Frank elaborates on
what's new and true in his bodybuilding world.
If you are as disgusted with the mainstream
bodybuilding magazines on the market today as I am, you should subscribe to
Building the Body. It promotes how to
build a proportionate defined symmetrical physique -- a platform for honesty
with no paid advertising. It's not supported by supplement companies who's
ads take up 75% of the pages of most bodybuilding mags, claiming it's their
products that built the massive 300 pound bodies competing today. They
don't tell you about the incredible amount of drugs today's competitors use.
We don't advocate this approach, that's why we continue to publish our magazine.
After last issue (Winter 2006) subscription numbers shot up. Subscription
rates are $20 a year (4 issues) or $35 for 2 years, Canada and overseas
subscription add $5 per year and $10 per year respectively for airmail postage.
Thank you for your support.
