NOVEMBER
2005 Hello,
I'm back to regular training, doing two sets of each exercise, a three way split every other day. Been focusing on going heavy for 8 to 10 reps on the second set of each movement and stretching long between each set. Taking my time between exercises, sometimes resting up to 4 minutes between sets. Also have been on a low carb low fat diet (less than 60 grams of each daily) with one gram of protein per pound of bodyweight. Bodyweight has been hovering at 185 and my waist is getting tighter. I intend to reach a peak, when it will occur I'm not exactly sure. I just know it is taking longer at my age of 63. But I intend to keep at it through the holidays, not go off my diet too often and keep up the regular training. We'll show the results in Building the Body Quarterly in detail and put a few photos on the website.
I'm excited about going to Sparta, Wisconsin to see my friend John Dudley, one of the best archers in the world, who is a rep for Mathews Archery. He's made me a new set of lighter limbs for the beautiful tournament bow he built a few months back which should help me improve my accuracy now that I'm shooting left handed. We're going to exchange archery and bodybuilding lessons (he's one of the world's strongest archers) and then drive to Minneapolis for a seminar. The bodybuilding seminar is Sunday
afternoon December 11th from 2 to 5 pm and quite likely will be held at the
Wayzata High School. Cost is $20 per person and the first 40 people
to register will receive an autographed copy of my new Zane Body Training
Manual free. Contact Christine Stiff, IFBB professional bodybuilder
and NPC Minnesota Chairman at 952-945-9090 to purchase tickets or email her at
Bongiovannic@aol.com for more details
as they develop. ARCHIVE TIPS: TIP OF THE MONTH HOME PAGE |
